Marcus Aurelius had a clear view of life: it is more like wrestling than dancing. In his Meditations he explains why – you have to stand ready and firm against whatever comes at you, especially what you didn’t see coming. Not elegant steps to music you know, but grip, balance and a fight. Written by an emperor who spent years in army camps.

How we check reviews
- Before publishing a buyer’s review, we check the order number against our orders. That is what the “Verified buyer” badge means.
- We publish every genuine review, positive or critical. We only remove spam, insults and personal data.
- We don’t pay for reviews and don’t reward them with discounts. If someone received a product for free as a sample, it says so on their review.
- The rating is the average of all published reviews of this product. Newest reviews are shown first.
