Today it’s a gym slogan, but the poet Juvenal (around AD 100) meant something sharper. In his tenth Satire he mocks what people pray for – wealth, power, beauty, a long life – and shows how each of these wishes can ruin you. If you must ask the gods for something, he concludes, pray for a sound mind in a sound body. The rest, he adds, you can give yourself.

How we check reviews
- Before publishing a buyer’s review, we check the order number against our orders. That is what the “Verified buyer” badge means.
- We publish every genuine review, positive or critical. We only remove spam, insults and personal data.
- We don’t pay for reviews and don’t reward them with discounts. If someone received a product for free as a sample, it says so on their review.
- The rating is the average of all published reviews of this product. Newest reviews are shown first.
