The story behind it
“Let others love the good old days. I’m glad I was born now.” In his Art of Love, Ovid (43 BC–AD 17) reminds his readers that the gleaming Palatine Hill of his day was once a pasture for plow oxen. Old times were simply rough, he says, and this age suits him fine. Here a young Roman does a handstand on a fallen column in front of the rising sun.

How we check reviews
- Before publishing a buyer’s review, we check the order number against our orders. That is what the “Verified buyer” badge means.
- We publish every genuine review, positive or critical. We only remove spam, insults and personal data.
- We don’t pay for reviews and don’t reward them with discounts. If someone received a product for free as a sample, it says so on their review.
- The rating is the average of all published reviews of this product. Newest reviews are shown first.
